About the role
Vertex Softlab is hiring a meticulous QA Engineer (Manual) to safeguard the quality of products we ship to global clients. You’ll work hands-on with PMs, developers and designers — testing web and mobile applications, writing test cases, and championing a quality-first culture across the team.
What you'll do
- Design, document and execute manual test cases for web & mobile products
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX and cross-browser testing
- Identify, log and track defects with clear reproduction steps
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers and product managers
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups and release reviews
- Contribute to QA process improvements and best-practice adoption
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
- 2-4 years of hands-on manual testing experience on web & mobile apps
- Solid grasp of SDLC, STLC and bug life-cycle
- Experience writing detailed test cases, test plans and test reports
- Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail or similar test-management tools
- Working knowledge of REST APIs and Postman
- Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills
- ISTQB certification is a plus
